I think the best thing about Sundays is when the biggest item on your to-do list is absolutely nothing. I think today has been the best Sunday I can remember in a long time.
I’ve missed blogging so, so much, but I’m swamped with the writing assignments that I have due by May 30th. I’ll admit, it’s a good problem to have, but when I’m driving home from work with dozens of blog post ideas swarming and slithering around in my head, I’ll admit, it makes me kind of crazy not being able to post them.
Adam and I, along with thousands of other Kings fans, were super bummed (okay heartbroken) when the LA Kings didn’t make the playoffs this year. We’ve been half-heartedly watching the playoff season, trying to get excited, looking for any small thing to brighten our spirits, but our efforts have been futile.
I just wanted to pop in and say hello, since I’ve been working my little rump off lately, and none of it has had anything to do with blogging.
A few weeks ago a blogger I follow (Ashley from the Nashvillian) published a post called ‘Instagrammable February’, where she posted all of her Instagram pictures from the month of February. I thought that was a fabulous way to remember the month, so I decided I would try it myself!
Hey Monique, what’s all this talk about God?
I feel like I come off as a little cooky-wacky sometimes in my blog posts. I know a lot of my friends who I don’t talk to that often read my blog posts, and I can only imagine their faces when they read all of my talk on God, the angels, and loving affirmations.

Hi friends! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, I know I’ll be eating leftovers for another week, and I’m so, so, so thankful for all of the wonderful family and friends I got to spend the holiday with.
Now for the fun stuff. Black friday was amazing. I bought a lot of Christmas presents for super cheap at 11:30pm online and I’m super glad about it.
But what we’re all really looking forward to is Cyber Monday. Or at least I am. Because online shopping is the way to go this year for me (and really should have been for every year before this).
Christmas is another job in itself. In addition to writing for sites you hope will accept your pitch, scheduling posts on social media, tweaking your blog every which way, prototyping apps, trying to get 2-3 weekly workouts in, as well as 6-8 servings of fruits and vegetables each day, Christmas walks in wearing golden stilettos, throwing fake snow and glitter everywhere, demanding a peppermint martini.
