Final Cover_4

It feels awesome to finish something. January has been amazing so far in terms of productivity, and I can’t think of a better way to finish the first month of the year than with the accomplishment of having finished my very first ebook!

Okay so here’s the part where I get all modest and talk about how it’s not all that great. I mean it is, but really, it not a big deal, haha. I really just wanted to reward my subscribers with an ebook. After hours, days, (weeks?) of pondering what I could possibly write an ebook about, my sister finally said (as you may remember from the bottom of  this post) that it would be great if I compiled an ebook filled with my favorite resources. Because apparently I’m “always talking about some new cool thing.”

Shooting Stars

Maybe it’s my kickboxing high, but when you think about the life spans of all the souls on earth, from a spaceship’s perspective, their beginning, middle, and end might as well be as quick as a picture flash. Or like fast clips in movie trailers.

Whatever you prefer.

My life, would also be a picture flash, that one second on the screen when the car blows up in a blockbuster movie trailer, that shooting star you thought you just saw. Its entire story will be swallowed up one day, along with the entirety of literature, a million umbrellas, and every single Jack in the Box. Next would come the neighbor’s harmonica, the bottomless ocean.

Causora Giveaway

This is a good one.

Win $200 worth of gift card credits to an assortment of Los Angeles restaurants, spas, and shops because Causora is amazing.

What’s Causora? (And did you say $200?)

I know, my thoughts exactly.

Galaxies

(Photo credit: NASA. Thank you NASA, for showing me galaxies).

I wasn’t feeling good when I woke up this morning. It was because I didn’t have any plans. I could talk about this topic forever (how not having plans gives me anxiety), but instead, I want to for a second write about how I got myself out of this slump.

Don’t worry, I know it’s Saturday, this is a really short post.

022

Yesterday a woman from an auto body shop told me my insurance company had deemed my car a total loss.

My first thought was oh fuck now I need a car. My second thought was…my car….

I didn’t really think about losing my car that entire day though. I went to work and started prepping for a new car hunt. I laughed. I ate a few carrots. I had coffee. I smiled when a cool song came on the radio. But later that night, I fell apart.

What’s the story? I’m not sure yet, I’m only on page 4. But stories should always begin with a bang, and here’s mine: I’ve finally finished that ebook I said I was going to offer my new subscribers. Woo-hoo!

It’s only about 10 pages long, just a short little resource guide for a bunch of cool stuff I’ve found on the interwebs since I started blogging, but it’s going to be free, fun, and mostly f-bomb-less. I’m still reading and re-reading over everything to make sure it’s all sound and readworthy, and I’m currently working through the design details. I’m hoping I can have the link ready for you to download in about a week! That is of course, if you’re already a subscriber :)
